Sony is ready to splash out another new improved waterproof model this year with the name of Sony Xperia ZR. This aquatic model of the Japanese firm is a follow up to the high-end flagship Sony Xperia Z and hence it could also enjoy freshwater plunging up to 1.5 m.
Just like recently launched smartphones, this hottest handset is also incorporated with 13-mega pixels rear facing camera that is perfect for recreating the excellent bit of License to kill in your holiday pool. However it misses the 5-icnhes 1080p full HD screen of Sony Xperia Z since the company has chosen to bless this phone with a mere “HD Reality display”.
As per the information furnished by the official specifications list of this stunning gadget, it is integrated with 4.55-inches with 1`280X 720 p resolution that offers it a pixel density of 323 pixels per inch. It is almost similar to the retina resolution of Apple iPhone 5 but it is little below the 443-ppi pixels density of Xperia Z.
Talking about other specifications list, this is a powerhouse in all aspects since it is bestowed with a quad-core processor clocking at 1.5 GHz supported by a 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 jelly Bean update that is not the newest version but still it has enough features to deliver brilliant performance.
Sony has not mentioned anything about the software update inside its new creation but it has just focused on its HD video underwater in all its press materials. Sony has not clearly stated about the price of the Xperia ZR and also not anything about when it will land in the UK but it has only mentioned that the phone will reach globally before end of July.
